SYTYCD

I can't believe my sister's & mom & I got to go to SYTYCD!!! This is our second year...so I guess we are making it a tradition!? It was amazing and I have never seen so many women (young and old) scream there heads off! If you follow the show, you know how awesome it is. I loved seeing it live and remembering all of my favorite dances. My aunt Allison and her daughter Breanna, joined us this year, which was really fun! We also saw another aunt, our twin cousins, and their daughters! I hope we get to go again next year, because it is so much fun. The kids and I got to stay with Brooke and her kids for a couple of days. Brooke is amazing and is such a good mom. We stayed up late every night and even went to a Zumba class together...not to brag, but we were the best in the class! We also got to stay with Tara and Greg in their beautiful home! They are such good hosts and good parents to Gretchen. We finished our trip with a quick stop in Moab. We were so happy to see Dan after two weeks and ready to resume our life in Roswell. This was a unforgettable trip that will etch itself in my memory forever!

Halloween at the Willvie's!

The kids and I were so fortunate to go visit the whole Willvie Clan for 2 weeks, except Ryan & Heather (expecting a baby), and Sean (on a mission)! I love visiting and it was an extra special trip because of the beautiful FALL SEASON! We started having our annual Halloween party about 6 years ago. As you know, I love dressing up and I guess I inspired everybody else to love it as much as I do... Everybody (except my husband) gets dressed up! There are always such creative costumes and we laugh until we cry. We took the kids trick or treating and then came back for FOOD, DANCING, & GAMES. I have missed out the last couple of years, but was so glad to be there this year. Along with Halloween, I had the opportunity to teach a dance workshop in Pocatello. It was wonderful and the students are amazing! I was so proud of my children for being such good travelers in the car (both on the way down and back). I was grateful for good weather and the support of an awesome husband for making it all possible.

Ruidoso

We met up with some friends for the weekend in Ruidoso, and rented a cabin! Dan graduated from the Academy with Dave Zamora, and they have remained good friends these last 4 years. They currently live in El Paso, and we were happy to see his family and catch up with them (especially hold their new puppy, ELVIS)! There were deer all over and it was so cool to see them wandering close to the cabins. The weather was so beautiful and I found myself wishing we could stay longer. We are finding that Roswell has some definite perks with being close to some cool places. Ruidoso is 1 hour from Roswell, and a tourist town. It is known for its horse race's and snow skiing. Don't get me wrong, it is not like Idaho and Utah...but we love it! We plan on taking the kids tubing and possibly renting a cabin again.
