| HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to Me!! Dan was not able to be with me on that day, so I bought the most beautiful flowers I could find at Walmart to remind me that 9 years ago I became a mother! |

| There are a lot of "hidden treasures" in New Mexico, and The White Sands National Park near Alamagordo is one of them. We had never visited the park in the 5 1/2 years of living in Deming, but a good friend invited us to celebrate her son's Birthday. We had a blast sliding down the sand on sleds and the temperature was perfect! |

| I think every family needs adopted relatives! We have known "Aunt" MaryJo and "Grandma" Nona for almost 6 years and love them to pieces!! They are so sweet and always welcome us for a visit! |

| Braxton was given an assignment from his third grade teacher to grow a cabbage this year. He watered, pulled weeds, and tried to keep the creatures out. It was not the biggest, but since none of us like cabbage anyway...we didn't care! |
